Grindstone - 1996 Kentucky Derby Winner

Grindstone, Jerry Bailey up, won the 96 Derby by mere inches.

Bred and owned by Overbrook Farm, Lexington, Kentucky, he was sired by Unbridled.  After his win at the Derby, a fracture was discovered in his leg, and he was retired to stud at Overbrook Farm.  His earnings were in excess of $1.2 million.
